A MUST GO! I used to go here years ago until about 3.5 years ago when the food started to be dry and not be that great. I recent went here late Feb 2023 and the food was devine!! I was literally shocked at the revamped quality of their food from their fries, drink, burgers, fish dishes and so on. Each and every thing my table of 4 ordered was top notch and reasonably priced with portions that filled you up! Great atmosphere; they keep the place warm with the grand fireplace and service was attentive, friendly and quick. I don't often praise restaurants so highly but this one is now one of my go to's and recommendations for family and friends for the Courtenay/Comox region. Well done to who was in charge of the revamp.

My wife and I are newly weds and Lauren M. was our server. We don’t drink so Lauren gave us ginger ale but on ice as if it’s champagne and made us feel well taken care of. She had exceptional customer service and should be promoted to the manager immediately. Would recommend coming here!!

June 2024. When I visit Courtenay I make time to enjoy a lunch in the Timber Room. The atmosphere is spectacular and the menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried...full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and always smiling. See you again soon. August 20, 2024 Came back to enjoy an amazing supper. As you can see from the pictures the food looks delicious but the attention to flavor is throughout the dining experience. The organic red wine was smooth and complimented the salmon entree.

As a senior who watched Crown Isle being built, I like to drop by a couple of times a year to see what’s new. In the past, the food and service were a bit inconsistent, but on my recent visit things were outstanding! My wife and I sat by the fireplace on a rainy Friday — I had the Fish Tacos and Clam Chowder, and she enjoyed the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. It’s wonderful to see Crown Isle back at its best. We’ll definitely be visiting more often!

Lauren M. served my husband and I at timber grill at Crown Isle and she did an absolutely amazing job. She had exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond. She made us feel very special on our honeymoon and truly made the experience wonderful. The food was great too :))))

Took my partner here for a surprise dinner. He really enjoyed the food as so did I! Our waitress was very sweet and friendly, the food was exceptional. Full of flavour, beautiful presentation, came quick. Really enjoyed our date night

Service was a bit slow when we went but the food was worth the wait! Beautiful view, friendly staff, and plenty of parking. I had the tomato feta dip with a Shirley Temple and it was delicious and filling. Can't wait to try more things on the menu!

Every part of our meal was fantastic. The atmosphere is spectacular. The menu has a large array of choices. We went with the beef dip and the 8oz new steak as our mains and the cream brûlée for dessert. Everything we had was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. This was one of the best meals I’ve had out in a very long time.
